Women’s Circle

If you are feeling the need for a deeper connection with women, consider starting a monthly circle for sharing, supporting, and practicing mindfulness. Explore our women's circle steps along with a two-hour "lesson" created for each month.

A women's circle is meant to be a two-hour sanctuary, a gathering for wellness and connection, for women to let go of the world and embrace themselves. We offer an initial circle guide followed by a sample lesson to follow for each month of the year.

STEP 1: Find your tribe.

It may be a group of close friends, neighbors, or a people you don’t know yet. Consider the ideal group size and account for a little attrition.

STEP 2: Commit to a place.

If you are facilitating each month, you might want to host the circle at your house consistently. Another option is to rotate locations within the circle. Ideally, the space has different seating options and is free from distractions.

STEP 3: Commit to a date and time.

Pick a two-hour window that works consistently for the group.  For example, meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Send a reminder one week prior to meeting.

STEP 4: Follow a schedule.

It helps the group to follow a basic agenda or protocol. For instance, always bring a mug for tea and a journal/pen for reflection. Below is a sample agenda.

7:00 Potluck Snack & Chat

7:30 Check-In (no late arrivals)

8:00 Mindful Practice

8:30 Journal & Sharing

9:00 Closing
